Siam Discovery invites you to discover the art of Retablo Peruvian Treasure through an engaging workshop.

Retablo is a form of artistic expression from Peru that blends Andean culture and religion.

Originating during the colonial era with the arrival of the Spanish, who introduced decorated boxes featuring various Catholic saints to the local population.

Artisans from Ayacucho in the central Andes of Peru adopted modeling techniques and adapted this cultural heritage to fit their own traditions.

Today, Retablo is expressed in various forms, including religious themes, bullfighting, cockfighting, traditional dances and celebrations, and agriculture.
