This exhibition goes beyond folklore and fear—it’s an immersive journey through local ghost stories that have shaped the beliefs, rituals, and identities of communities across Thailand. Once forgotten, these stories now serve as cultural treasures, ready to inspire new possibilities for creative industries.

The Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), CEA, invites everyone to gather around and get to know 30 local ghosts from all over Thailand in the exhibition “The Untold Story: A Collection of Forgotten Local Ghost Tales.” Join in debuting these ghostly gangs to make them even more famous through untold stories while admiring over 90 contemporary ghost characters. These characters are the result of blending unique interpretations of local ghost tales with the distinctive designs of Thai artists. This is yet another treasure trove of imagination, ready to drive fresh inspiration, and power the endless growth of Thailand’s creative economy.

“The Untold Story: A Collection of Forgotten Local Ghost Tales” exhibition will be exhibited from 17 September – 22 November 2024, between 10.30 – 19.00 hrs. (closed on Mondays) at TCDC Bangkok, Gallery, Fl. 1.
