Description
Join us at the “Whitewash | ชโลมขาว” exhibition by Kanya Charoensupkul.
“Whitewash” presents an era of societal collapse in Thailand, both economically and politically, through Kanya’s abstract paintings. Created primarily in the late 1980s, these works reflect the crises and transitions that left painful scars on Thai society.
Despite the colorful appearance, each piece prominently features “white,” symbolizing calm and softness while subtly conveying underlying frustration.
The exhibition is open until July 7, 2024, at Matdot Art Center, daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with free admission.
